Default Help identifying or locating OLD seemingly internet-only songs

I've been on the trail of two songs, one from the early days of file-sharing and the other I've never heard, only read the lyrics to.

Song One is from the old Napster/Kazaa days, it was right when Eminem's Stan came out and Dido's track was popular. I downloaded it by accident thinking it was Stan, it's a full track which uses a different part of the hook. Last time I remember seeing it, it had the file name of 'Unknown bad rap feat. Dido' again, it's a LONG shot, but I'm not sure where else to look but a music forum. It sounds like the artist is hispanic due to the accent, and it's about a day that keeps going wrong. I used to remember lyrics, but I can't think of any at the moment. I'll edit this once I do.

The second song seems to show up on a majority of lyrics sites, but nothing about it or the band seems to be known (leading me to believe most music sites are copy/pastes). The song is called One Million Miles Away and is credited to a band called Ninth Grade Spotlight. I've never been able to find anything about them except the one lone lyric. I even IMed the poster on Songmeanings.net which is where I originally stumbled upon the lyrics.

One Million Miles Away by Ninth Grade Spotlight
how does it feel to love somebody
and know you'll never have them
you really wanna be with them
but it feels like yer a million miles a...way
you just wanna runaway
wow-a-whoa i know it has to be this way
i know its not the the end of the world
it just feels that way
now im gonna runaway
its the end of the world
an image of her face
ingraves in my mind
but she doesnt love me
she just left me behind
you say, heartbreak
doesnt last forever
i say, this time it will
shes a million miles away
yea...hah...
but she doesnt love me
she just left me behind
you say, heartbreak
doesnt last forever
i say, this time it will
shes a million miles away
yea...hah...
thats how i feel

The lyrics aren't anything to write home about, but for years I've randomly at odd hours tried to track it down. Any ideas?
