Default Looking for song about sleepy gnome

Ok an oldies station I use to listen to played a song about a sleepy gnome on a knoll sipping wine watching the clouds or something like that. It has been driving me crazy for years that I can't find it.. My wife thinks I am nuts.. I hope some one knows what song this is so I can prove to my wife I am not nuts.

It's not Pink Floyds "The Gnome" is it? For some reason though Leonard Nimoys "Bilbo Baggins" popped directly to mind though

It is not either of those ... It may have been a song from the late 50's or 60's..
