Title should say "What are the titles of these songs (by videos)"

Song 1:
I watched this video on punch much early 2000s (probably 2002-2004).
I remember the band is singing in a white room, looks like a museum or other fancy place.
I think there is a red rope around them.
paint or something starts splattering around them and on them.

Song 2:
I watched this video on CMT late 90s or early 2000s.
The video is a singing competition of some kind.
The singer plays both parts and both sing the same song.
One guy is very confident and seems full of himself/sure he is going to win.
The other guy is nervous and starts out slow/quiet, he get more comfortable and ends of winning.

pretty sure song 1 is Flyleaf

it is not Flyleaf. There is no woman in the band and the paint (or whatever it is) is flying at them not pouring out of the walls.

Male or female singer? male, I'm pretty sure the whole band is male
What does the band look like? I don't remember, it's been a long time since I've seen the video. I don't think I've seen anything else by the same band either.

not the right video. The paint is more like being whipped at them or splattered on them.
