Default Please help identify this band/song

I was half asleep on the weekend when this video showed up on MuchMusic and now I can't find the band/artist and it is driving me crazy!

First of all, the song had a folk/country sound to it and I think it was kind of a long song. The male singer had a beard and kind of a weird high pitched voice and was playing an acoustic guitar (I think he might have also been wearing one of those knitted caps). Part of the video showed the band playing in front of a small live audience; it almost seemed like they were an indie band. At the end of the song, the music ends and he softly sings the last few lines of the chorus.

I'm sorry that's not much to go on, but that's all I can remember since I was half asleep. I think the name of the band was a single word and the song was something like "if only" or "what if".

I would be most grateful if someone could identify the song or the band.

Cheers!

It might be Radical Face (Ben Cooper), he has a pretty high voice, and a beard and an acoustic guitar, but it isn't one word, and I don't know what song it could be, so I could easily be wrong, haha

The description of the singer sounds like it could be Badly Drawn Boy but he doesn't have a band.

Wow, that was pretty darn close Plato! Good try! I thought you had it when I heard the song Always Gold but it's quite similar. The singer is thinner and when I say high pitched voice, it's almost like the Mick Jagger in the song Emotional Rescue (first few lines).

At the very least, you've got me interested in a new band (Radical Face). :-)

Oh, it might be Passenger then, he is thinner but he does have a beard and guitar. I cant post links, as I don't have 15 posts yet, but i you search for this on youtube: Passenger - Let her go (unofficial Clip movie If Only 2004) , the name of the movie is 'If Only', maybe you remembered that? The song is Let Her Go, i think an acoustic version. But his voice isn't as high as in Emotional Rescue, so maybe it isn't him. I wouldn't know who it could be otherwise, so I'm sorry if this didn't really help you, haha
And Radical Face is really nice, yeah haha
