Music Banter - Bossa Nova? Desperately in need of recognition...

I have never heard such a beautiful mingling of vocals and instrumental music. This was a somewhat short audio clip from a video I was watching and I cannot make out the lyrics. I believe it is in English but it is too muffled to make out the lyrics in order to look it up. I am going mad trying to figure this out. I must know. Please help! I will be forever indebted to whoever can offer a song/artist name or even suggestions of artists that produce something similar in style. Thank you soooooo much (in advance!)
