Here's a challenging one
 

A friend of a friend heard this while on hold and is looking to identify this tune. I think it sounds like an interpretation of something else (no idea what), and I figure, who better to ask than people who love music. I'd appreciate it if anyone can name this tune, or in the very least give me a clue.
