Default Need a song from description

New to the forums... I need help from the experts.

I was listening to the radio yesterday right before I had to jump out of my car and get to work. There was a song on and it was pretty good, but for the life of me i cant remember any substantial lyrics, but maybe with what I can remember, you can help me out..

The song was by a woman
She sounded sort of similar to Alanis Morissette
It sounded like maybe it was from the mid to late 2000s, though it is hard to tell because there was no autotune, (I may be way off base here though)
Pretty sure it used vocals and light guitar predominantly, not much in the way of other instruments.
Im not sure, but I feel like there was a part where she said something along the lines of the person being in the shower or bathroom or having a towel or something like that, then it went into the chorus.

This song must not be wildly popular now, because its not played often but I know Ive heard it before. Its driving me nuts!

I have never had a more appropriate time to use this face

Thank you!!!!

Really good description but can't for the life of me figure it out. Maybe you could give the date and time you listened to it? And the radio station.
