Trying to find an old one hit wonder song

Today I remembered a song that I used to really like, unfortunately, don't remember artist name or song name, or any lyrics for that matter(kinda sad, huh).
I've googled for DAYS, hitting nothing but the wrong artists and dead-ends, but here's what i DO remember:

a) She's brunette
b) The song is a "Pop" song but she has an opera singing voice.
c) She is NOT Sarah Brightman, i've looked through all her stuff
d) I believe the song came out within 2000-2006
e) The video for the song has a scene where she's floating in the air with some kinda white gown thing on, and a rope tied around her ankle to keep her from flying off
f) She was trying some experimental pop/opera fusion, but she vanished almost as soon as her song got played on the radio on a local top 40 station...
g) I think it was her only hit...

It's not evanescence either...

I've searched year by year through several lists. this has become my life's mission... lol...

Charlotte Church? Or maybe Tarja ( Nightwish's first singer).

Probably not your song but it's Tarja

wasn't charlotte church or the other unfortunately.

She did go by her first and last name though. not a band name.
