anyone can help me with an 199X video song?
 

well hello, i come here since i have chasing a song for over a year ago. i can only tell you what i remember about the video. it can be from 199X. its a pop song sing by an africanamerican woman young, dress in a sparkling pink dress covered with plastic squares. i remember i think the singer comes walking over an old street, made wit stones and goes inside a very old brick house i think, and an alien falls down, the alien beeing CGI (Compuer Generated Imaging) witch for the time was pretty well done and awesome. i think it falls down near or inside a tras can, then goes inside this old house and dances with the singer. its a very catchy song that reminded me the old spice girls songs from around that time. anyone that can identify the video so i can confirm it will be most appreciated.

Ladies in dress like you said, can be seen in Culture Beat or M People videos, but not sure about any other parameters :)

no the only "dressed up" person its the woman singing. i think its so transendent the video for me since its had the alien dancing with the singer. all the other womans and males dancing around are clearly extras as if they where on a dancing club. nothing special.

the only thing i can add up to narrow the search, its that i think its a singer that had just that one song out (maybe not sure) and that the video in part its similar to the style of the one of paula abdul where she dances with a cartoon cat, but this is a computer generated alien dancing with the singer. its kinda like a mi of the video of paula abdul and the one from blue da-ba-deep one.
i have also narrowed down the years it might have come out. between 1996-98. so anyone that for example has an old VHS with mtv videos it might be there.
