Default Looking for the title/composer of a song heard at JcPenney and Giant

Greeting Community,
I would like to know the title and the composer of a song that I heard playing at two different stores (JCPenney and Giant) on different days. I was able to capture a snippet of the song and the chorus was something like the ''Don't you give up'', ''You've got to be strong'', but I am not quite sure about the combination and the order of the words in the lyrics. The music(instrumental) was pretty similar to the violin sound found in ''Bittersweet symphony'' by The Verve. I have tried to search it on the Internet, but I could not find the song. I have tried to contact the company that is in charge of playing the music at JcPenney (it is called Muzak) to no avail, because they could not provide me with a satisfying answer. Thank you very much indeed beforehand for your assistance.

Didn't the Muzak company go to the wall a few years ago? Also, I didn't think Muzak included any vocals.

Whatever. I'm not surprised they were unable to help you. They MIGHT have a track listing (though I doubt it) - but there is no way any employee would bother combing through their massive list of tunes in the hope of finding something that matches a verbal description.
