Exclamation An EXTREMELY Elusive Cover

Hi,

I hope I'm doing this right:

My friend sent me this video about a week ago.... (its a tribute to some disney movies)

I know that its a cover of Linkin Park's "Numb," but that's unfortunately the extent of my knowledge. Sounds acoustic to me.

I've read the vid's description and all of the comments, but the user who posted the video refuses to reveal the name the of the cover for fear of receiving a "strike" on youtube. They won't even allow the real name of the song to be posted in the comments.

Anyways, its driving me crazy. Since its a cover googling the lyrics and using Shazam were completely useless. I'm curious about moo mash, but their server is down or something.....

I've tried several Youtube covers and the closest I've found is one by Janick Thibault, but its still clearly not it.

Is there a way to identify this cover? Maybe the original was already removed for copyright?

I'm not sure, thanks for any help I get.

Who was the guy who covered "Mad World" by Tears For Fears? Sounds like the same person.

Nope.
But I can see why you would think that.

Sounds good. Excellent observation.

*edit to add: At least the *genius* knucklehead afforded us his valuable time to answer the question posed by the OP. One could say that this act was a lot better than showing up in the thread empty handed with a face like a slapped arse and a last name that rhymes with penis.
