It's from a SNES game, here's a recording of me playing roughly the melody and ****ing up because I can't play piano and I'm tone deaf but it's close enough. If someone figures this out I'll sleep with them

Are the background maracas accurate to the rhythm? Or just a placeholder and you are only seeking source for the piano melody?

Any details about the game itself? Genre? Objective? Boss fight? etc

I never actually played the game but back when my emulator worked on my modded Xbox I found out it was from an Alien type game. The marracas were the closest thing I could find to a four on the floor beat with my casio lol. The melody is mainly what I'm looking for but keep in mind that it isn't totally accurate but it should give a good idea of what it sounded like. I never actually played the game because it was just the song in the file browser for the Snes9x emulator for the original Xbox but when I could find the info on there I found a youtube vid of the song with screenshots of the game but have long since forgotten.

hm. Without going on a YT bender, it reminds me of "Beach" in Plok. maracas are throwin' me off tho.

It would help if there was actual sound playing. Multiple links have still had nothing playing so I'm not sure what's up with that.

The other guy heard it. I told you it was quiet, so idk what's wrong. I can email you the file if that helps. Try it with headphones and PC speakers to to see if it's just like a hardware issue?
