Sad classical piano music.
 
I have attached (I hope so at least) a basic interpretation of a piece I want to learn but I don't know what it is called. Please can someone help me?

Parts of the melody are sort of similar to Shostakovich's prelude in g minor but I'm guessing it's not that?

Perfect. Would you by chance have any specific recommendaitons for CDs of his work?

I don't really own very many CDs with Shostakovich's work, actually, but pianist Tatiana Nikolayeva is considered an authority as far as interpretations of this work (24 preludes & fugues op. 87) goes. There's a full performance by her on YouTube and I'm fairly certain her recording is available on CD too.
