Need help finding these 2 songs, rock

Been trying to search what i got of the lyrics on two songs, but not getting any results..

First song i guess could be considered a rock ballad, male singer. This is parts of the lyric i got (might be some miss heard lyrics):
"Giving up the sun it's a black black day" "screaming through the night"

Second song, also a male singer:
"Hey you what's going on here you *unsure on lyric here* this is the time to follow your dream make your way up to the top take your breath and make it out of here"

Sadly no, that's the song that kept coming up as a result for me too when trying to search the lyric. It is a lil similar i think.. in the sound. But thx anyway!

I have a short mp3 file of both songs btw.. but it wont let me upload it

I came across this post because I was searching for the same song as the first one mentioned by OP. Thought I'd share what I know of it.
A short sequence can be heard in the background of the 2017 german comedy-crime movie "Grießnockerlaffäre", so it's entirely possible that only this bit was composed specifically for the movie. On the other hand it might just be some obscure enough piece that you just can't find it on the web via the relatively commonplace lyrics.

I uploaded the short sequence I have - perhaps it rings a bell for somebody!
