Looking for song I saw on a music video on MTV around 2002 or 2003

I'm looking for an old song I saw on an mtv music video around 2002 or 2003. That was the year I believe the song was made. I don't know the band. the music type sounded like a grunge, pearl jam style, with what sounded like some kind of keyboard playing. There were some fast flutelike/keyboard tones during and near the end. The guy sounded mad with fast lyrics. I only saw it a couple times on mtv, then heard it once later on the radio and curious who the band was. I guess it wasn't a very known band, when it popped up on MTV I remember it as a band I'd never heard of before.
The guys were white, I think had long hair, and the video may have been in a dark outdoor setting with mountains? There was definitely a bird call sound near the beginning of the song after some lyrics. He says about 10-15 fast words, then the birdcall. The birdcall sounded like a squeaking screech, it could have been a whistle or instrument.

The only lyrics I remember were at the end but I don't know exactly what he says. He says the same 3 words over as the song is ending. It sounds like he says "I will pass(pause for 4 seconds while keyboard tune plays)I will pass(pause 4 seconds while keyboard tune plays)I will pass" or "will I pass...will I pass... will I pass" or "can I pass....can I pass....can I pass"

I googled all those lyrics and couldn't find it. I did find a christian song with "I will pass" lyrics called "when I see the blood". The song I'm looking for sounded like it could be one of those religious Christian rock songs, so I thought maybe a remake but I couldn't find anything.

Any ideas or a way to contact any MTV gurus who would know this?
Thanks
