Rocksong from the 1980s
Iit's about a rock song that has stuck with me for 35 years. I heard the song in the supermarket in Germany where I was working at the time, which was from 1985-1989, so I would say it must have come out in the first half or middle of the 1980s. I'm not a native English speaker. So about the only line of lyrics I remember from the chorus, I can only say that I think I heard that:
"Have you seen Marilyn Monroe walking down (on?) the street? " Please visit this link to listen (you have to copy and paste it manually): vocaroo.com/1gYdRf5sfIxs |
I suspect this is Motley Crue's Use it or lose it from the album Theater of Pain.
"JFK, Marilyn Monroe Street walking gypsy, Margaret Trudeau I said hey, you, what you gonna do When time's run out on you?" |
No, unfortunately that's the wrong song. The song I'm looking for is not metal.
It's maybe a bit faster than in my gruesome interlude you can listen to above, but definitely not that fast. |
