A one-hit wonder 80s or 90s pop funky song on MTV
 

Hi guys.

I even tried Bing Chat could not find the song but it can't just leave my mind after all these years.

Description:

I am looking for a funky pop song with a girl singing standing (and maybe jumping) on a bed in a otherwise empty room in the music video. It was an MTV video most likely sometime between 1980 and 1999. The girl is probably wearing a leather jacket or leather clothing. Dark short? hair. There are bandmembers around the bed playing instruments (I think guitars or even she could be holding a guitar while standing on the bed).

Its just a fleeting memory from my youth that gave such an impression and affected my songtaste later (funk).

I am leaning more towards 1980s around the time of A-Ha TakeOnMe or similar popsongs. It was an early impression so 1983-1988 perhaps?

I'm trying to meditate to let the brain give me some more hints.. :)

Braindetails (could be wrong): I'm sensing she had braided hair on each side (like Pipi Longstockings) definately black/dark hair. The bed I think is the kind of metalframed (thin round shaped metalpoles) bed.

It would be helpful if you could describe the music in more detail. "Funky pop song" could apply to A LOT of music.
