Does anybody recognise this small song segment?
 

Hi,

I was browsing YouTube today and came across a small song segment that I have been trying to identify but am not having much success.

The YouTube video is:



The time index is 5 seconds (It is the 2nd piece of music in the mix).

I have tried Shazam, but it cannot recognise it.

I have transcribed the audio automatically and also tried to write down the lyrics, but cannot find anything that matches my interpretation.

I did find a music track on the YouTube channel Arinaluisa:



That sounds like the same artist (Tate McRae according to Shazam), but I am not 100% sure this is the same singer, I have been going through all of her songs on Spotify can cannot find anything.

Any help / guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

While out driving in the car with my 15 year old daughter I mentioned my dilemma over this song, and in less that one minute had identified it, found the remix version on Spotify and sent my the link via SMS :bowdown:

She apparently listened to the lyrics in the small snippet, went online and located the song via the lyrics. Which I would like to say were totally different to what I thought they were and the automatic transcribe thought they were.

Anyhow, the song is "Pretty Girl" by "Maggie Lindermann" (I even guessed at the wrong artist in my original post).

What made it worse is my wife said "I have heard that before" :)

Thanks to anyone who spent time trying to identify this song for me.
