oh god based on early reviews I am so glad I preordered this guy on vinyl

I'm being very patient with this, waiting for the Bleep downloads next week. I've waited 8 years, I can wait a few more days to make sure I'm listening to good files.

I had to hold back from giving it a preemptive 5/5, though. |
100% cd flac ;d

I've given it several listens, and it's pretty gold. I was a little let down by the shorter track lengths, but other than that I really like the new album. I should probably make a more in depth review, but laziness. Maybe I'll do it later.

Pretty much an instant classic in my eyes. 5/5.

Good album, but not their best though. I liked it but maybe it's because I recently got into them and I listened to some of their best albums before this one that it kinda ruined it. Overall I did not fall in love it like others are doing, but I am glad I downloaded it and it did really have some great highlights like "Reach For The Dead"
3/5 |
An enjoyable album. 4/5

Didn't like this at all. This was my first experience of the band and it was not a good one, though I've been advised I should try "Music has a right to children" first. This, however, I got about four tracks into, struggled through another three or so and then turned it off and put on Sabbath's new one instead. Just did not speak to me at all.
Maybe it's me. Maybe Boards of Canada and me are not compatible, but I saw no reason to continue what was, for me, a disappointing and quite annoying experience. |
