This album really grew on me. I do like how they aren't complacent with sticking to any sound. From grandiose to subdued to almost disco. They're giving me a strong Talking Heads kind of vibe now with their latest (courtesy of James Murphy). As a whole I don't think I like it quite as much as The Burbs, but great album nonetheless.

I gave it an 8/10. This is the first album of theirs that I have listened all the way through. The others songs that I like from them have mostly just been singles here and there. After saying that I don't feel like I can give a good enough mini review of it since I can't compare it to their past albums overall feel. This does make me want to go back and listen to their previous albums all the way through though.

seriously I've heard better from Arcade, wow I'm not with this at all

I love Neon Bible and to a lesser extent Funeral, but this one just strikes me as kind of neutered Talking Heads. 4/10.
