That's why you download the link...It's pointless to post in a thread to say "never heard of them".

Here's something even more pointless.

I voted "Like Them".

Really love the second album, but not so much the first. If Blackfield II were the only release I would have voted "Love Them".

Like them: Epidemic is an awesome track. The first album is just as good as II imo, although it's less immediate.

A brief description of the band:
Imagine if Steve Wilson remade Deadwing, but replace the Metal influence with Pop. I've always wondered what it would sound like if Wilson made a pure pop album considering what an incredibly talented producer he is and this answered my question. Blackfield II is much better than the debut because it's more accesible and that's what Wilson set out to do with this project and he sounds akward and forced a lot of the time on Blackfield. None of that on their brilliant follow-up.

I kinda like them.
Blackfield I was better imo...or atleast i found it to be better.
Their music gets boring after a while, but definitely a good listen at the start.
Just a poppy version of later PT, minus the progressive aspect.(Not completely, but most of it)
