Love Oasis. My favorites from them are "Supersonic", "Champagne Supernova", "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back In Anger", and "Stop Crying Your Heart Out".

Their first two albums (and some of the B sides of those albums) were really good.
Then they got in my modest opinion a little stale.
Best song? Probably Live Forever

Until Noel started writing songs for the band there seemed like little direction going on.

Yeah. I can agree with that. Their early songs were put together on an unofficial compilation called The Lost Tapes, which you can find on Youtube.

It sounds like a bad Stone Roses album.

Snakebite sounds like the typical poppy sound that was coming out of Manchester, and I suppose the UK in general around that time.

I like Oasis up to Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, when they were putting out great rock tunes like Live Forever, Morning Glory, Put yer money where your mouth is, ect.

After that, from what I heard, it sounds like the real soft rock John Lennon influence took over...just not for me.

They did move in a more larger then life sounding songs after they had lived out their youth so to speak. I would say there were numerous songs on "Dig Out Your Soul " that were pretty pop rock driven.

Yeah, it's insane. Like half of my favorite songs of theirs were actually B-sides. Quite possibly my favorite band ever, and I adore Noel's songwriting.
