i just dont like pop music because it's poorly written, and people are duped into liking it because of radio play. but whatever suits your fancy, i guess.

Well Backstreet Boys are far from my favorite bands, I just think they deserve some respect as they are far from terrible.

Horrible, horrible song. This just proves to me that this girl is an idiot. She could have shaped an entire career off the fact that she's a former gospel vixen, but no, she had to go and make 'I kissed a girl' to appeal to the masses. A damn shame.

She is a very attractive girl (zooey is better)
but I don't think much of her music beyond drunkenly jumping up and down with friends doing a faux-screamo version at my year 12 formal.

I don't really like either of her singles atm, but I will say a huge thank you to her for I Kissed a Girl. There has been more than one occasion at parties where the song comes on and girls go crazy for it. It's like it turns on their inner lesbian or something. All I can say is many a good time has been had, and observed, as a direct result of a room full of drunk chics dancing around to that song.

I really tried to give her a listen, but her songs just sounded the same, and it's not a style I like that much so...
