Default Morrissey

I have Viva Hate, Vauxhall and I, Kill Uncle, Southpaw Grammar, Your Arsenal, Bona Drag, Suedehead, You Are the Quarry and Ringleader Of The Tormentors. My favorite is Viva Hate and my favorite song is Late Night, Maudlin Street closely followed by Seasick, Yet Still Docked, My Love Life and There's a Place In Hell For Me and My Friends.

His solo work is interested, I was scared of it for awhile figuring it would be like a weaker version of the Smiths but I was pleasantly suprised. While I don't love it as much as the Smiths for the most part it seems to be just entirely separate. He dabbles in so many different things and his lyrics just seem to improve.

Recommendations:
My Love Life
You're The One For Me, Fatty
The More You Ignore Me, The Closet I Get
Suedehead
Late Night, Maudlin Street
Seasick, Yet Still Docked

So I see your digging 4 Smiths albums at the moment, are you just getting into it?

No, and i'm talking about Morrissey's solo career which I only checked out last night, not the smiths.

Your Arsenal is highly under-rated.

ok then, just getting into Morrissey. What brought you to Morrissey? Advice? The Smiths? Siblings? Just curious?

Crow -you only just checking Morrissey out? Love him or hate him-he's a unique musician. I'm a big fan. Just need to get some more stuff. Only have a compilation.

Well, having listened to three albums i'd say i'm past the checking out phase. But lately i've been getting really into the Smiths and I decided to give his solo stuff a chance.

I really like Morrissey and The Smiths, but don't currently own anything by either artist. This is one of those artists I've always liked, but for some reason have failed to pick anything up by ...
