Have never heard of this group before but... I like! Very 'fun' and interesting, ha. You're definitely right when you say that the genre of 'pop' generally has mostly negative connotations attached to it, but I'm hearing more and more indie pop artists such as these guys who are bringing a lot of talent to the genre and proving wrong most of those negative associations.

Very nice. Will have to check out their debut, I think.

someone at a party last night was just raving about these guys and put it on. we had a few complaints from your usual radio hip hop crowd, but i really enjoyed it. i will definitely be listening to these guys. good stuff.

sounds good, im not sure if i like the violin though.
the song in the second video sounds like vampire weekend to me.

How can you dislike the violin? It's not even a major part of the song. And Vampire Weekend wish they could craft melodies as well as fun.

Anyway, fun. is an amazing band. I've listened to Aim and Igite maybe 20 times. I'm also going to see them with Jack's Mannequin (not my thing, but hey, I get to see fun.) in Indianapolis fairly soon. Definitely recommend this band to most people.

Perfectly understandable if it's not your thing, though.
