One of the better pop stars to come out of the late 90s/early 2000's if you ask me. It's a shame she hasn't had the career a lot of her peers have had, but then again I'd gather that's partially her decision....

They make 'real' music that is entertaining for the majority of the people in this world. Now, all we see are ho*s and black rappers talk about drugs and their gangs, rock artist with stupid looking hairdos and songs that only talks about heartbreaks, and of course, wanna be divas trying to reach every single musical note there is just to prove they can do it...yes Christina Aguilera, i'm talking to you!!!

Anybody see a problem here? Maybe im just crazy.

i love me some 90's pop. they set the bar high for modern artist nowadays. we all should be thankful to them, except for Mandy Moore of course

And yet, you chose to come into the thread even if you don't like her. Real smart.

So I gather that some folks don't like Mandy Moore. That's fine. But there is nothing wrong with those who do like and adore her like me, either.

I'm a Mandy fan who enjoys her cheesy older albums (So real, I wanna be with you) just as much as her later material (Coverage, Wild Hope, Amanda Leigh).

If there are any other Mandy fans here to speak of, what album from her appeals most to you?

If you are another who dislikes her, what would your main reason be? Can't sing well? I personally think that she is a great singer, especially for how she sounded when she started at only age 16!

I love Mandy and think she sings from the heart and has major talent.

I'm not a fan, but I give her credit for moving beyond cheesy teen pop in a way that isn't hypersexual (which is exactly why she's barely on the radar anymore). Her voice is pleasant, neither bad nor great.
