If you're listening to J-Pop and you're not at least considering listening to Ayumi Hamasaki, you're probably doing it wrong.

Seiko Matsuda was the original Queen of Jpop during the time when records sold millions.

Surely Ayumi Hamasaki is worth considering, but I think her music rather belongs to the Japanese "Eurobeat" genre than to J-Pop!
