Default The Axel F. Appreciation Thread

Because we all know that cheesy 80s synthpop instrumentals are awesome whether if you want to admit it or not.

The awesomeness that is Axel F. by one hit wonder, Harold Faltermeyer

Ah yes, the first thing I ever learned to play on a piano.

Harold Faltermeyer also did the theme from Top Gun so "Axl F" isn't strictly a one hit wonder I guess. But, yeah, great song. I always loved those drum rolls.

It's a cheesy song but it brings back so many good memories of summer '84 for me and Beverley Hills Cop is still a great film.

Harold Faltermeyer is a legend. He won Grammys for that. I'm putting it on right now. If that came out now, it'd be the best thing on Top 40, no lie

I never fully listened to the original song. Now I regret that. It is really a great composition
