Idk about tribute bands, But Fantasy Island by Tight Fit comes close enough. Best song ABBA never wrote.

i was supposed to see Bjorn Again when they were in Cardiff

sadly my plane was supposed to depart the next day and i needed sleep

Bjorn himself has said that ABBA is probably never gonna reform, and Bjorn Again is the next best thing

as long as it is true to the one and only abba then it's ok, if not it just spoils the songs

Love Abba, but tribute bands are not needed.

Throbbing Gristle pay tribute to ABBA, as wrong as it sounds.

Arrival from Sweden is pretty good. Go see them if they are near you.

My own band does a dark, grungy version of SOS

video is not ours - music recorded by us, at my house

I used to dismiss the idea of tribute bands, but I have changed my mind. If the original band is no longer performing, and the tribute band is keeping faith with the music, then I say go for it - especially if they have the blessing of the original band, as seems to be the case with Bjorn Again. Music should be played and heard, not locked away in vaults.

I'd really like to see The Musical Box (Genesis tribute band) if they ever tour here. I'll never have the opportunity to see and hear the original Genesis doing something like their Lamb Lies Down On Broadway concert. The Musical Box would be the next best thing.
