The Japanese are too cool. Too cool.
|
it is pretty good, at first it reminded me of the realyl realy yearly Alice Cooper stuff, then it reminded of some Sabbath, and then it went off all on it's own way
|
I'll download it when I get on my computer, but from what you guys are saying... It's already sounding good.

Hi, I like Japanese Psychedelic rock and I thought I'd steer some of you folk towards a blog I found which features many great Japanese and Psych rock releases in general if you search through the archives. Their is a couple of other Flower Travellin' Band albums for upload on that site along with many other similar type bands such as Blues Creation, Speed Glue & Shinki etc as well as the more far out music from the likes of Taj Mahal Travellers.
The blog is citiesonflamewithrockandroll.blogspot.com (, I myself have found a few albums I've wanted from this site). Check it out. Anyway, I enjoy Flower Travellin' Band they are probably one of my favourite in the more conventional vein of the Japanese psych rock. Good stuff. |
This thread wins. I love this band.

Satori is an incredible album, just stick it on, turn the volume up, and lay back as it works it's magic
|
Satoriiiiiiii.
|
Some of you should listen to their 16-minute version of Louisiana Blues which is from their mainly covers album, 'Anywhere'.

^'Anywhere' really has some moments, what's the consensus on their post-Satori albums? I've not heard any of them
Has anyone read Japrocksampler then? Because I know that's where I heard of all these mentalist Japanese bands and it's the only text to have brought these once-collector's items to light Satori is definitely one of the classics of the era, makes Sabbath sound like sunshine and lollipops. check out the singer... |
I'm gonna get this now. Partly because it sounds like something I would dig but mainly for the best review I've ever read
