Just got The Dark Third. It is a great album, and I hope to see more from this band.
Sorry for being a necro. |
Man the more i listen to the Dark Third the more it reminds me of Porcupine tree with some added aspects such as the female vocalist. (anyone know her name?)
Apprentice of the Universe is fantastic. Like PT there heavy riffing is great. http://img3.nnm.ru/imagez/gallery/a/...f480a_full.jpg |
Just checking these guys out...I have to say I LOVE the vocals. Thanks for posting this!
P.S. Listening to Twyncyn Willows right now...great song. |
The Dark Third is one of the best Prog albums that I've heard in some time. I won't say they beat Porcupine Tree, in my book, but they are great. I think they work the Pink Floyd influence in just the right places, and having a male/female vocal team puts them in a league of their own. Big hearty thumbs up from THIS cowboy...

Listening to them on myspace and i LOVE what I am hearing.
Where would be a good place to start? |
The Dark Third. I am pretty sure it is their only album.

I got that album. It's brilliant.

According to wiki, they have 2 studio albums, a live album and an EP.
I can't imagine the Demo would be much except to the crazed fans. |
So, I have secured an interview with PRR (specifically Jon). I have drafted most of my questions, but if any of ya'll have anything you'd like to ask, let me know, and I'll see what I can do (I can do the whole "X, from Z country, Y town, of P age" thing if you want).
Fire away :P |
