You have The Incident yeah? I'm not sure what else you have but I'd say Deadwing is your next best bet.

ahh okay then, well you're well off so far. Go for it, my favourite PT album - Fear Of A Blank Planet. Get Lightbulb Sun as well (it's easy to get into and has a lot of great songs that just make you feel good like 'The Rest Will Flow')

I think 'Anesthetize' and 'Russia On Ice' are two of their best songs, from FOABP and LS respectively...

I agree. I think they are one of the best not only from these two albums

@mrguy - if you still won't be tired of this band, after FOABP and Lightbulb sun, I recommend also Stupid Dream - it's really good one!

And what about promised review of The Incident? I was curious to read your opinion...

Yes, I have been a bit busier with school exams than I predicted...

I will try and do one by the end of march.

After a slow start I am beginning to love PT. I have all the studio albums and am beginning to track down the rest of their releases.

So far:
1. On The Sunday Of Life
2. Up The Downstair
3. FOABP

Radioactive toy is my favourite song so far, damn beauty, especially live versions of it

So I see you are fan of "old" Porcupine Tree
I dont listen to their first album so much, somehow it has some too crazy songs for me - like Jupiter Island. But other old albums are really good. Radioactive toy is classic song, cool!

I guess you could say i dig the 'old' PT Which is surprising, as they don't share the metal-esque vibes that some of the latter works do. And metal in most forms goes down well to me being somewhat a metalhead. . .

Trying to get hold of 'Arriving Somewhere' and failing miserably at present, is it worth an online order to anyone who has it?
