quicksilver messenger service

Very surprised to not see a thread on these guys. Definitely a pinnacle in anyone's psychedelic archive. QMS is truly one of the first bands of its genre, leading many other bands to follow from the mid 60's on. I only wish I was not 19 and could have seen them live back in the day. Lately Iv been into there Self Titled which is in all aspects a perfect album.

I have not heard there late albums with newer members, anyone have a take on that before I check it out?

I've still only heard the self-titled. It hasn't floored me, which is why I haven't moved on...but what would you suggest next?

Cool thanks.

Man, looking at that discography, it's amazing how prolific artists were back then. Versus now. I think these days too many artists are perfectionists. They may release good work, but I can't help but wonder what their material would sound like if it was a bit more spontaneous.

I personally blame technology. To be considered a decent piece today it must almost sound "perfect". Odly enough im going into the music tech field, but I hope to one day help bring back musics spontaneity.

Happy Trails is a great album. John Cipollina really cuts loose.

When I saw the thread title, I thought we were talking about an app.
