Love this album with every inch of my heart.

Me again :)

More of the German 70s psychedelic space music
Ash Ra Tempel from their first album. This is only the first part of the track 'Amboss' which is over 20 min long

Agitation Free - You Play For Us Today (Malesch, 1972)

Modern neo-psychedelia, space rock:
Bardo Pond - Tantric Porno (Amanita, 1996)

Ok, here's finally Jessica Bailiff - For You (Even In Silence, 1998)

And here are some relatively newish bands I've been listening lately:
Pocahaunted - Ashes is White (Island Diamonds, 2008)

Psychic Ills - Another Day Another Night (Dins, 2006)

Religious Knives - Brooklyn After Dark (It's After Dark, 2008)

I found only live songs from this album on youtube

Awesome post. I know of Ash Ra Tempel, Agitation Free (malesch is an awesome album) but Bardo Pond are not my thing but some really great tracks here.

Some are not what I would class as Space Rock per se but the Jessica Bailiff and Pocahaunted tracks are right up my street and Religious Knives are a band to look out for definitely.

Links would be appreciated ;)

^^Yeah, sometimes it's hard to distinguish space rock from psychedelia or some kind of post-rock, but I posted these just for the sake of diversity and to cover many decades.

Btw, have you listened to Gong? They're sometimes described as space rock, sometimes as psychedelic or progressive rock, Canterbury scene etc. I've heard very little by them, but it seems they would be right up my alley.

(Links are coming :) )

I agree Malesch rules. I somehow found it on my computer and was so happy it was there after listening to it. And regarding Bardo Pong, have you listened to Ticket Crystals? If you dont like the album you may at least like the cover of Cry Baby thats on there. A cool take on a Beatle song.
