I'm ready to go, so I guess I'll leave the first review...

If I ever find myself driving late at night, feeling drowsy, and out of strong, black coffee, this is the album I'll play to keep myself awake.
Unfortunately, that'll be the only other time I'll probably ever get the urge to listen to it again.
There were some interesting moments and some humorous moments which, unfortunately, were mostly bludgeoned out rather quickly by a constant, relentless pounding of harsh, heavy psych noise rock. Just as I would find myself getting into something that sounded promising, it would be blasted away at full force by some repetitive instumental riffing that turned tedious rather quickly.
I had a tough time getting through this one to the end. In fact, it started to grate on my nerves by the 3rd song in. This album sounds like more of a meth-head's sonic trip than an acid-head's. Certainly not my cup of psychedelic tea.

Some interesting spots but not enough worthwhile moments for me to give it more than a 5/10

Like Psy-Fi said, this was too heavy for me. Not enough melodic presence, and I found the vocals obnoxious. There was decent guitar work, though. I doubt I'll listen to it again.

4/10, mostly for the album cover.

I'm the opposite. I loved it. Kind of reminded me of listening to Hawkwind. Can't pick out any specific great tracks or anything --- kind of all blended together --- and the singer's style of more speaking than singing grated, but other than that I thought this was pretty cool. Was expecting to be bored, was not. Best so far.

I've heard The Heads' debut, Relaxing With..., and thought it was fairly good. I've only listened to it twice, but thought it was a fairly good stoner/psych album that I'm sure I'll listen to again some day. This is the second thing I've listened to from them, so I'm happy to be going in chronological order. I think I like what the band is trying to do here, and don't mind the singing style. I just find that the album is far longer than it needs to be, with far too many meandering instrumental parts. The album as a whole really doesn't have any focus, it plays like an endless jam marked for editing, that never made it to editing. I haven't even gotten to the 12+ minute closer yet, and I'm scared. What is the fucking point, at this point?! Really this could have been a solid 30-40 minute album. There's too much of the same and too little melody.

Sadly, I have to report that I'm not making it to the end - that doesn't bode well for a second listen. And that's too bad because I did enjoy some of the material in the beginning of the album, but it wore out its welcome after 30 minutes and I'm not likely to start over at any point. Some acid or meth would either have improved the experience or made it 100 worse. I expected I would like this, but they took it way too far.

I thought that the album was pretty good. It reminded me of a garage rock version of Acid Mothers Temple. The vocals really aren't that great and there are a couple of meh songs on the album, but unlike the other members I thought that the heaviness worked in the album's favour. I'll go with a 7/10

I don't know. Nothing special and nothing I would want to revisit. I like the Acid Mothers Temple comparison and it made me think how much more I would rather listen to them. Like Frownland, I liked the heaviness and I liked the garage rock aspect a bit, just seemed like it needed a bit more focus. I'm going 6/10.
