^ I agree, except I think American Idiot is less than mediocre. It's good if you're just looking at it as being well written, but the vibe on and themes suck. Well written, well produced trash, imo.

Dookie was instant classic. Nimrod and Kerplunk were as well worth owning.

They got older and more cynical, and boring.

If you found American Idiot to be worth more than a couple spins, you'll enjoy 21st Century Breakdown.

It has one or two decent songs, however the album is totally inconsistent in quality.

god, 1 god awful album every couple of years i can deal with. But 3? Are these going to be actual full lengths? mini albums? ep's?

The question thats killing me is there gonna be 3 Green Day Operas coming out in support of these albums also.
