Wow,This album is amazing. All the songs are good(if not great or amazing). This is the album you should get first if you have never heard social d. The standout tracks are:Mommy's Little monster,Anti-Fasion,Moral Threat,The Creeps and Another state of mind. Out of 10 I'd Give it a 9 1/2(only because Not every single song absolutely rules or is amazing,but all the songs rock). It is becoming one of my favorite Punk albums. Mike Ness is da man! Buy this album!

I have "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" and im not that into it. I always hear good thiings about this band but it never comes to me. Is it one of those albums thats have to grow on you?

Descendents- Milo Goes To College

This is an amazing album from on of my favorite bands. Mostly every song is enjoyable and catchy. I give this album a 9/10 only because it is really short. I think it's 22 minutes or in that area. I highly recomend picking up this album. If you like Black Flag you'll like this band.

Ah,that S.D album is probobly the least "punk" if you will. Buy MLM and see the tru glory of this band.

Oh,and i just ordered Milo goes to college off interpunk,i cant wait til it comes in

leftover crack- **** world trade

This is leftover crack's second full album and it is amazing. They brought back some of there Choking Victim ska sound and incorperate it with folk, rockablitly, and hardcore. Alec's basslines are sick, Stza's lyrics and voice are grating, and Ezra's guitar still has those up strokes and power cords.

this is a must have album. 10/10

Captain Beefheart - Safe As Milk

As the title implies, this album certainly isn't Captain Beefheart's most adventurous or experimental. But that doesn't mean all the songs are plain and straightforward, either, certainly a lot of them have a very "classic rock" feel to them, with bluesy riffs and basic drum beats, but some certainly do venture into the avant-garde, notably Abba Zabba, Drop-Out Boogie, and Electricity. When one considers the release date of 1967, Safe As Milk does stand out as an album that was "ahead of its time," and it certainly matched Frank Zappa's efforts at the time. Today, the album still sounds as strange and challenging as it must have in the sixties, and even traditional blues rock songs, albeit with Beefheart's somewhat unorthodox jagged rhythms, like Yellow Brick Road, still make for a good listen.

Great album, though it does give the feeling that they are being held back- in this case by their record label. They would reach their peak when given full creative control on Zappa's label two years later with Trout Mask Replica. Still, incredibly debut. 8/10

I'd say yes. I'm surprised you don't at least like the first half of that album, it's quite bouncy and catchy. The s/t and MLM are much better, you might want to check those out as well.

try "Prison Bound" from Social D too - similar to MLM - kick-ass early stuff!
