Poison Idea Guitarist - RIP

"One of the GREATEST HARDCORE PUNK GUITARISTS OF ALL TIME...

it's true. Tom Roberts/Pig Champion is dead. spill a 40 or whatever you choose and honor another fallen punk rock hero.......

Thats a shame I always liked Poison Idea

Feel The Darkness is a fantastic album

Fenixpunk 02-01-2006 10:53 AM

Pajama Party is a pretty decent album to considering its all cover songs.

Blank Blackout Vacant is probably my favorite though, even though I listen to Feel The Darkness a little more.

I don`t usually like cover albums much but i`ve probably played Pajama Party more than any other.I just love their version of Green Onions

Yeah, Poison Idea were a great band. Too bad the massive figure of Pig Champion couldn't be around for a little longer. I really enjoy the Pick Your King EP, that one always sticks with me as great Poison Idea.

Fuck Ian Mackaye.

I had always thought Jerry would be the first to go and am truely astonished that he's still alive. But yea, RIP

OK It's not the perfect thread to drag up from the dead (sic) but god damn. Poison Idea are so bloody good. Almost certainly my favourite Hardcore Punk band. This band deserves a ton more recognition.

Worthy of a bump for sure, although I did experience a little disappointment when I realized Fenixpunk wasn't actually back.

I was thinking christ don't say Mondo snuffed it as well.
