Didn't really know where else to put this. If anyone likes Screeching Weasel or has been at or paying attention to SXSW, you've likely heard of this. I like Ben Weasel to a certain degree, but he's really just a prick who takes himself way too seriously, and he was in the wrong here. That being said, I think people are making too big a deal out of the fact that the "victim" was female.

There was some fall out from that whole SXSW incident, where I read on punknews.org that the remaining band members have decided to step away from Screeching Weasel.

I figured that when I noticed you posted in the 'level of observance' thread. Maybe you could say a prayer for me Jesus Boy. Even if he is Catholic I support his right to beat the **** out of anyone who throws something at him, male or female. If a woman starts physical **** with a man she deserves the same response a man would get. Same thing goes for children, too.

SXSW is crap. I support Mr. Weasel's comments on the hipster festival.
