The Sublime tribute album "Look at all the love we found" is really good like that.

Did you complete ignore the post? Nearly all the songs are the same thing, they weren't "ruined" theres hardly any difference if people would actually listen. Just look at the senses fail cover.

Some of them, are really good. I prefer the Saves The Day cover over the original cause it sounds happier/funner.

If it maybe gets some people into the original bands, then its a good thing. I remember I got into The Adolescents 'coz of Tony Hawk 3 (i think?), which had Amoeba. I loved that games music so damn much back in the day.

The sound track was mildly annoying, but i liked the game alot. institutionalized was cool and (in the game, at least) there was a version of 7 seconds "we're gonna fight". It had some good music, as crowquill said (even though MCR coving the misfits is complete blasphemy, as well as quite a few other covers).

but what did we expect? people put popular music in these games/ game soundtracks to make money.

Havent heard the sound track as of yet, but all the sound tracks from THPS 1-4 and underground have been pretty good and so have the games. Not neccessarily music id go buy and listen to but its good to listen while playing the game. Although there are some real **** songs in there.

Saves The Day, Thursday, and Alkaline Trio's covers were some of the only good covers, but they still don't differ much from the original, as Crowquill has repeatedly stated.
