No, I've figured it out.
Even if 'twasn't their producer I've concluded that it was Mark Hoppus.
Think about it, I mean come on, Mark Hoppus REALLY wanted to be famous I think and convinced Travis and Tom to play poppier music.
Tom and Travis had to form a whole seperate band without Mark just to pay tribute to their influences.
What is this band you ask?
Box Car Racer.
Still, a $hitty band, but it proves a point that Finn or Hoppus needed Blink to stay poppy.
