Career Suicide and Government Warning are both good, only two i've listened to from that list.

Well, namedropping thread if I ever saw one. Brutal Knights, Formaldehyde Junkies, Regulations, Under Pressure and Violent Ramp are some of the current day hardcore bands I enjoy.
