top ten best punk bands ever

1.The Ramones....(the inspiration of hardcore music)
2.The Misfits....(the only good horror punk band)
3.Crass....(the first truely anarchist punk band)
4.Conflict....(the second truely anarchist punk)
5.Bad Religion....(enough said)
6.Suicidal Tendencies....(enough said)
7.Black Flag....(the original & later line-up)
8.Minor Threat....(originators of straight-edge punk)
9.MDC.....(this queen rocked way harder than all of those in Queen together.)
10.Generation X....(old school punk)
11.The Casualties....(I just couldn't leave them out of this. Oi! punk)

Whats up with all the pop-punk ***s and post-hardcore bands being put in top 10s like fall out boy or nofx. They all suck. They don't live up to such classic true pop-punk like generation x, ramones, or even the fashion bitches the Sex pistols. Also, I am a fan of AFI but they havn't been punk since they're first album AT&SF, so I don't think they count.

Hellhound-138 10-15-2005 11:13 PM

oops...

I also forgot to include these bands...Germs, FEAR, The Vandals(before they turned pop-punk.How'd that happen? They sung about skinheads and killing cops!), Aus-Rotten, Resist & Exist, GBH, RKL, Eric Ozenne's bands, Exploited, Disaffect, Caustic christ, Disrupt, Disarm, Daily Terror, Gorilla Biscuits, and whoever else I'm too tired to type of right now. Also all the old school **** with Iggy, the stooges, dee dee's solo stuff, new york dolls, Sham 69, and all those punks who started the whole thing deserve respect. And as for YOU, blink182 lovin corporate whores:nono: , I will personally track you down and shove my Ramones first record up your ass:ar_15s:
