That is one of the first times I have literally laughed out loud to something someone said online. =P

Silverstein, Agraceful, Before Their Eyes, LoveHateHero, and then the metalcore side BFMV, Gwen Stacy, I Killed The Prom Queen...
Before Their Eyes and Agraceful are great, LoveHateHero get boring after a while, still good.

Wow, TFOT? Good job man. I'd start off with Doppelganger, then depending on how 'spazztic' you think it is, you could either move to the self-titled or Manipulator.

Yeah, for some reason, I like the songs where the screaming is crazy and harsh for them, and they they switch it up to singing.

I only really like Goodbye My Love by LoveHateHero, like, that song is seriously amazing, the guitar solo is totally epic...but none of their other songs even come close to it lol, new album soon though!

I'll try to get into TFOT though!

Hopefully I can see Silverstein w/ A Static Lullaby, Before Their Eyes, and blessthefall next week...hopefully lol.

Ill also suggest Protest the hero, you seem to like the whole screaming/spastic/singing stuff mixed with some good guitar and solos

I meant as in more than one genre. I don't know but the metalcore is just getting so tiresome...
Have you ever listened to real hardcore? Good **** man.

I know, but that has nothing to with what I said. Seeings as we have medium compatibility means we like someof the same bands. I have no idea which ones those would be though.

This is a nonsensical post. You want to broaden your horizons, but only want to listen to bands in the same genre as the ones you already liste nto, doesn't sound very broad to me.

The last few pages of this thread have been a big mess. Let's just talk about Protest The Hero.

Well the way you were saying it was like you are ashamed to like bands that I like, because I have such a "horrible" taste in music...which is kind of like a direct insult.

And maybe I don't want to broaden my horizons, but I want to find new bands that have similar characteristics.

Maybe try listening to something a bit more original. No offense but ETF is not really a great band, they're pretty generic. You'll be able to find a bunch of bands that sound VERY similar. And that's quite lame IMO
