there many good hardcore bands today...but most who call themselves hardcore are not truely hardcore, such as the devil wears prada and **** like that. nothing beats the old days though for sure

Yeah, basically every metalcore band out right now is trying to pass themseleves as hardcore

The meaning of hardcore has kind of changed over the last decade or so. It is kind of a broad category to begin with.
