Already listen to those bands, I also love DMZ which was heavily influenced by the Sonics (imagine the sonics mixed with mid 70s british punk), also I like The Monks alot ( the german garage band not the english pop-punk band (they both have the same name ) ITS Black Monk TIME :). I also am into the three head coats and the scientists hmmm , now that I think about it i think I have had my fix of garage rock for a lil while ( although any suggestions would be appreciated ). Any idea's for bands similar to the stooges (other than MC5)?

I don't think I saw these on your list there, but here are a few garage/punk albums off the top of my head that may interest you;

The Celibate Rifles - Sideroxylon
The Saints - (I'm) Stranded
Alternative TV - The Image Has Cracked
Richard Hell & the Voidoids - Blank Generation
Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakes - LAMF
Cyndi Lauper - She's So Unusual (joke)
The Adverts - Cast Of Thousands

Similar to Stooges:
The Nervous Eaters (start with "Loretta", "Just Head", "Get Stuffed")
The Modern Lovers (start with "Roadrunner", "She Cracked", "I'm Straight")

Good Garage:
Lyres ("She Pays the Rent", "I Want to Help You Ann", "We Sell Soul")
The Dogmatics ("Thayer St.", "Sister Serena", "****housed")

Other bands you may be interested in; you seem to have the same tastes as I did around senior year:

X ("Adult Books", "We're Desperate", "The Once Over Twice")
Vivian Girls ("Never See Me Again", "No", "Lake House")
The Replacements ("I Will Dare", "Unsatisfied", "Left of the Dial")
Times New Viking ("Teenage Lust!", "RIP Allegory", "Call and Respond")
Richard Hell and the Voidoids ("The Kid With The Replaceable Head", "Love Comes In Spurts", "Time")
Television ("Entire 'Marquee Moon' album)

Theres some stuff I listened to when I was first really expanding my music tastes combined with some stuff I listen to now that I'm sure 17 year old me would appreciate.

Thank you very much for your input, I really enjoyed The Dogmatics albums (where the songs were off of) you recommended, I already listened to the Replacements and Television (sorry for the incomplete list) and I plan on looking up the other bands you mentioned.
