Vocals have the least to do with psychobilly I think. When I think of 50's music I think more o the crooners like Sinatra and Como. Even Buddy Holly had a sweet melodic voice. Not so much the more fiendish vocals of the likes of nekroman and Fenech. Blazing Haley is a really cool psychobilly band and the singer has really nice raspy voice that sounds really cool. But no Psychobilly is baisically norror movies meets rockabilly. Of course that often relates to hillbilly and classic country in bands like Tiger army and surf in bands like Horror pops but with all that said no the misfits are not psychobilly.
