You don't? They sometimes utilized ambient/drone and slow-tempo sound in their songs. Apparently, NME said that they were "arguably the first post-rock group." Albeit, I probably could've used a better example other than Metal Box.

I suppose, conceptually, they could've influenced some post-rock bands. To me they sound very different from the Godspeeds of the world, though. I would say perhaps The Durutti Column are the post-punk band closest to the post-rock sound.
