Holy **** do I love Magazine! Real Life is pretty amazing. My Tulpa or Definitive Gaze would be my faves off it. My favorite Magazine song is probably A Song from Under the Floorboards though

but not when Morrissey covers it

Has anyone heard the demo version of real life? Its fantastic, has a much more more gritty sound that really works well. Motorcade on the demo sounds amazing.

Easily as good as anything from the days of his magazine, LP Devoto first solo on the following topics (if not in time) from the excellent 'correct use of soap. This album is chock full of clever lyrics and precise pop melodies insidious, standout example being the rainy season of joy '; song that connects at the top which made me jump in the air, and leaves in a flood! There are at least 6 other songs that the quality of: haunting, deliberate deception on the one hand; swirling, snippets of tonal magic of infectious diseases.
