Default Pere Ubu

What would be considered the epitome of Pere Ubu’s career? I personally enjoy “Dub Housing” a great deal. What are your opinions?

What would be the best Pere Ubu album to start off with?

Two things:

A) Thread has definitely been done before.

B) Pere Ubu is punk?

I looked for one and I could only find this one. As for Pere Ubu being punk... they have some elements of it, but I have no idea. I didn't start this thread.

...wait, my mistake. I think there was just a few articles on various Pere Ubu's albums in the journal.

Still though, I wouldn't consider it punk perhaps it should be moved to Indie. Good band, though. I've only heard the first two albums, and that was actually from reading some things on this forum.

Definitely some winning moments.

They're certainly Post-Punk influenced.

Punk will do fine, as it originated as a post-punk and new wave act. If you guys want, I could move it to experimental.

That'd be great. I was actually going to start it up there until I found this thread.

Well I disagree, I think it should stay in Punk. What does it matter anyway?
